What is a Cold Open Teaser?

We use ‘cold open’ style teasers to engage viewers across our platforms,
with use of Oversteer TV brand recognition.

We do this to maximize audience retention within the first 10 seconds of each video, especially on short form content streams such as Facebook’s main feed.

These teasers are not always used, however if a video has a perceivably slow introduction before action starts, we may use a teaser to draw viewers in.

How does Monetization work?

We will use Monetization features on Basic Uploads.
This supports Oversteer TV directly, keeping the cost of distribution as low as possible.

Basic uploads will also carry the Oversteer TV watermark in the top left corner of your video.

How does Demonetization work?

Demonetization is included in our Premium Uploads & Live Simulcasting - this is to secure your content from any conflicts of interest in automated advertising systems.

For example; if a competing brand is advertised on, or next to your video - on any one of our platforms - contractual issues could arise with your own corporate partnerships or sponsorship agreements.

It also secures your content from our monetisation collection, removing Oversteer TV’s ability to directly profit off your content - while still maintaining the distributional value we are able to provide.

What are the video requirements?

Videos must be in 1080i or 1080p, with a minimum 25fps frame rate.

The preferred format is 1920x1080 at 50i or 50p, in an AVCHD / MP4 or similar filetype.
We can process most video types.

Videos must be at least 1 minute and 30 seconds, and no longer than 12 hours in length.

Your content will be screened to ensure it fits within the Oversteer TV brand and fits within the terms and conditions of our platforms.

If your content does not meet these requirements it may be rejected with a refund provided.

How do i remove my content from Oversteer TV?

Your content can be removed at any time, free of charge.

Simply send us an email via info@oversteertv.co.nz with a link to the content you want removed - you will need to provide the email receipt from your upload purchase.
